Subject: VMs: Does anyone have 10MB of web space free?

 Hi everyone,

I've just scanned (most of) the 9-rosette page in from Kraus' Catalogue
100, and am looking for a good home on the Web for 10MB of (150dpi) TIFFs -
 do I hear any offers?

(I've managed to miss out one corner rosette, but I'll go back and scan
 that in again tomorrow!)

IMO, the scans have turned out less than 100% satisfactory, as scanning
half-tone images is generally not as successful as you'd like: but it's not
such a bad start, and I (or somebody else) should be able to post-process
them (ie, filter out everything about the Nyquist sampling rate of the
half-tone) to try to better regenerate the original images.

I've also put a close-up (400dpi) JPEG of the castle onto my website, if
you'd care to take a look:-

There's definitely a lot of subtlety hidden in these images... I just wish
I was half as subtle myself... :-/

 Cheers, .....Nick Pelling.....
