GC is right that there are variations in the
course of pages, which are quite noticeable when
one transcribes.
It is strongest in the Stars/recipes section, where
the notion exists that subject or text boundaries
do not coincide with page boundaries.

At the same time, the Herbal-A and Herbal-B
pages can be consistently distinguished from each
other, in handwriting (character shapes,
size, line shape, nr. of words per line, per page)
and word and character statistics.
Again, smaller internal variations still exist. 

It is on non-herbal pages where the Currier 
language is not always clearly 'A' or 'B'.

If this is generalised to mean: "Currier languages
A and B", I could not agree more.
