RE: VMs: f1r symbols - wild idea?

Hi everyone,

Note that this word does not appear in the VMs
a second time.

To my eyes, the ornate "f" looks like it marks a top-line key (which I read as "f-[y-ch-y-s y-k-al ar]), so my guess is that the actual first word is probably encoded by some (or all) of "y-t-aiin sh-ol sh-or-y", which follows it.

Alternatively, there's a long gallows at the start of the fourth para (cph-[o-sh-aiin sh-ok-ch-ee-y]), and so a key could be there instead. My own instinct is that each of the four paras have their own key - that the author was worried about someone cracking his system from the first page. Perhaps this means that the contents of the first page are quite predictable? :-o

Hi Nick. Could you please define: 'Works' ?
Just kidding. If you've got the MS solved you would
tell us, wouldn't you :-)

Depends what you mean by "solved". :-) Much like GC, it may well be that I have it "solved" but not "cracked". :-o Who knows?

Cheers, .....Nick Pelling.....
