At least the non-smoking one looks like an
astrological symbol (see:
http://www.voynich.nu/extra/mstaur.html)
That would fit with the contents or summary idea...

The first paragraph could very well be the title
of the MS. These titles were often lengthy, like
miniature tables of contents themselves.

If the Voynich MS is derived from an Arabic MS,
then the first word (Eva: fachys or fyays) should
be 'kitab', with a high probability.
Note that this word does not appear in the VMs
a second time.

Whoever worries about getting crazy has a good
amount of sanity left in him. The really crazy
people think that they're the only sane people
left in a world of madmen (how's that for an
oversimplification and -generalisation ?).

Hi Nick. Could you please define: 'Works' ?
Just kidding. If you've got the MS solved you would
tell us, wouldn't you :-)

Cheers, Rene
