Incidentally, I wonder if someone can tell me
whether I can get a copy of the Newbold 'translation' of the manuscript online,
and his paper on decryption? It might help me understand how it is possible to
interpret coherent text from a nonsense method.
Perhaps it would be an interesting experiment to
use some of the more thoroughly worked-out 'translation' methods of the Voynich
manuscript on Seraphinianus, which we _know_ to be nonsense, to see if we can
get coherent text from that.
