Re: VMs: Mini-conference...?

Much as I like York, I'm far more interested in seeing if we can make it easy for Voynichologists outside the UK to attend both practically (in terms of cheap flights/connections - which would almost certainly mean London) and affordably (in terms of accommodation).

For example, I have two spare rooms at my house where some visitors could stay comfortably - and perhaps others here might think of offering the same kind of hospitality to other list-members travelling in from further afield.

Alternatively, the best location of all might be New Haven, CT (home of a certain manuscript) - if we can give the mini-conference even a slightly academic slant, I guess the Beinecke might well be very supportive. Furthermore, we might also (with a bit of thought) be able to block book accommodation and transport between us, to try to keep the costs under control.

Comments?

Cheers, .....Nick Pelling.....
