It looks like a digest list is simply set up as another Majordomo list
that one subscribes to.  Unfortunately I need to pay $10/month for each
list -- the fee for vms-list doesn't buy me arbitrarily many mailing
lists.  I'll see if there's a good solution for setting it up on my old
nearly-always-on machine that I'd been planning to use for a boat anchor.
