Pairification + my suspicion that <ch> == <<abbreviate>> would lead me to 
transcribe these as:-

cht     -->     ch  t   (ie real word-ending between them)
cth     -->     cth     (independent glyph, with meaning as yet undetermined)
tch     -->     t-ch    (ie gallows followed by <<abbreviate>> token)

Note that in many cases, tch would be preceded by <o>, which I typically 
transcribe as <ot-ch>.

As always, opinions differ! =:-o
