VMs: Another barrel display
Fourth line of first paragraph of page one of the VMS omitted due to the *
character. This has been my consistent method from the start for better or
worse.
Following is the Phil Neal inspired barrel interpretation. Note the distinct
row markers a and r. Also the various mark positions of c, h, y and s.
Letters towards the bottom of the display show less pattern and more
scatter. Although it can be said that t, i and n seem to start to take over
from h, y and s as the progression move on. Also the tilt of letters at the
left hand edge of the display is apparent as they join in the mix. This
tilted scatter seems to persist. Significant or just a symptom of the
method? I had thought of signifying double letter occurances by capitals,
but where letters are repeated more often in a word this falls down. Any
suggestions?
PS Note that f appears only at the beginning and ending of the text. I will
try to produce more from the remainder of the page to see if the effect
persists. Also I will include the fourth line but minus the *.
