i think it would work, but we need to find a provider who will host that
group or we need to set up or own server.
afaik, the problem would be: no other provider will mirror or group on
his server, because it isnt a "real" newsgroup and so the chance is very
low that groups.google will index it, because it is not "relevant" to the
rest of the usenet. :/

hm, that means faking usenetposts, because we need to keep the datehistory.
a provider wont be happy about that...

i agree. im not really sure, but i think we cant do this without going the
traditional way trough news.announce.newgroups. :/
