I was just beginning to wonder if I have not been
able to make anyone understand.
We don't need to discuss about tastes, so in
many respects all alphabets are similar. But
remember that Mary D'Imperio once wrote a two-page
note about some necessary extensions to the
Currier alphabet to represent ligatures and
weirdoes, which were known for a while as X1 to
X100 (IIRC). Then you know that you cannot
represent the entire VMs in Currier.
What you can do is translate any transcription
from Currier or FSG into Eva without loss of
information, which means that you can translate
it back and you get the same text as the original.
This is not possible if you do the opposite,
starting with any transcription in Eva. And this
is exactly the last I will have written about this
topic :-)
It's not bad to understand the Currier and FSG
alpbahets. There is a clear table somewhere
in www.voynich.nu
