VMs: Backward scanning a new test

I eliminated spaces from the individual lines of the EVA but kept lines
separate so that artificially long words were produced to see if the effect
persisted.

Here are the initial results. Word spaces were inserted arbitrarily so make
up your own mind.
Also some of these probably resemble vms words like snow resembles boiling
lava! See what you think.
