	This is one of my pet theories.  

	To follow that lead.  If we could find correspondences
with known folk magic/medicine/imagery, that would be
very  significant.  

	It would also be interesting to compare Dana Scott's
plant identifications to see if they match a particular
area.   

	Both of those could be a big help; I don't think
anyone's taken that approach yet.
