OK, I know the word is there. Possibly, it is 
a not very accurate transcription and it should
read:  daaijy (the j being a rare letter which
looks like d but has the i-shape). Thus it could
be a transcription mistake (or the result of an
automatic translation from Currier/FSG to Eva).

Possibly, as I agree, it is a mistake by the 
scribe. 

Let's however not underestimate the problem
found in distinguishing between Eva-r and Eva-s
in many instances. They only differ in being
i-shape or c-shape. It is certainly tempting to
make the decision based on whether the previous
letter was i-shaped or c-shaped, and knowing that
there is this rule...

j and m are somewhat similar, but j is far more
rare than m (which occurs especially in labels, e.g.
in the early zodiac images (from memory).
