But it is also important to note that sometimes the "experts" (linear-b anyone?) know too much for their own good. Of course there are far more examples for traditional thought, but every now and then an outsider sees something that those entrenched in the project just look past.
This is why all the newcomers are so welcome!
Every time I am convinced that this thing is bogus and we'll never know what it is someone comes up with some new bit of information. To paraphrase...every time I am ready to quit you guys (and gals) keep pulling me back.

This is very reassuring: since it is becoming clear that deciphering the
