VMs: The Glyphset

I have a question for anyone interested. What theory does anyone have about
the core ideas or characters from which the glyphs were originally derived?
If anyone can remember any proposals by others earlier in the archives it
would be a help. I have a hunch that I want to pursue. If it has already
been suggested then I may be able to review what others have said in the
past. I am not going to say what the hunch is at the moment. Take this as a
review of position.
