 	I looked a little at the stuff Petr has on Tironian
 notae.  I need to read more, but the sources I
 mentioned still look more Voynich-like to me than
 these.

 	I wonder.  Despite their appearance at the beginning
 of paragraphs, they are in fact a very frequent
 component of normal "words".

It wasn't until knox wrote 10-1100 for age of the vms and then Barabra 
went even so FAR BACK ("IT'S older than you think!) that it *hit me* 
again (ref ES = it's older than you think etc.. the 850 AD is to much 
older than I would think / feel (per ES) the time frame 10-1100's *IS 
a good feeling of rough date*. 
  I searched a bit and found the "crossbow can/is dated back to 1 BC 
in china, and hair-styles??? ( hey give me a break (I'm a guy here) 
LOL)) but I'm sure we have ROMAN EMPIRE metal coins with hair dress 
that is quit modern _  even now.days (see ceasers hair do?)

Also, I highly suggest the list here, dissect all the gallows, with 
their "pointer" (that is actual physical) appearence of penstrokes! 

You sould find 4 "UPPER" and FOUR C_gallow_C "LOWERS", no matter how 
you wish to embellish them (or even OVER embellish 'em)....

IF the time is really NOW, and your 1 of 12 - I wish you'd stay alert.

PS Barbara, the "SUN/Gold" that is star/circle is related to *BIRTHs* 
or geneology in this 10-1100 AD time frame?
