 I cannot pretend I have understood this mirroring and folding stuff; I 
 didn't at all. But I gather that it is based on the assumption that a new 
 paragraph marker changes the way the text is encoded.
 
 This hypothesis is fascinating, of course. However, in the z3610542.jpg 
 reproduction from the Beinecke Lib. (sorry, I don't know to which f. it 
 corresponds, but it should not be difficult for the experts to find it), 
 the same character sequence "qokairor" is found in two adjacent paragraphs 
 (line 11 and line 25).
 
 Even if the coding system is not known, one would believe that such a 
 possibility should be highly improbable. I agree that this single example 
 could be just that improbable event, but I found it on the first page I 
 looked at...
 
 Or maybe, I just have understood nothing...

on gallows MiRrOR (REVERSE) your vms _master_ key

The master KEY contains ALL the "positions" for EN/DEcoding

The "paragraph", "sentence", " -even the/its WORD!- " per the 
"mirroring/folding" procedures ... ALL should follow [the SAME 
folding/flipping [ES RULES.. ].
But as Nick Pelling points out .. I'm just a lone 1 of 12... DO NOT

Tell you: 

FOLD YOUR key (left to right (paper / vellum) key)) 1st fold.
then top / THEN bottom/UP (same as above)... (2nd fold). 
then ROTATE your key (ON _encountered_ gallows,) : 


THIS procedure ~NEEDS~ pointers to determine (key) position(s).


use "lower case" glyphs to point to 1st (existing) sections 
(static/preestablished) of alphanumeric 
settings, then MIRROR (if gallowed) image, THAT TO SEE the other HALF.

That is all - Jeff had a good idea I never even thought of -- that is 
good! (but Jeff, you START out on the wrong/left foot there), study 
the eva (yes), BUT go with the ~FLOW~ of the (vms) "visual" characters 
thatwill give you FLOW of TEXT (decoded).
its idea was not just mirror-image: but your up/down can equal 
left/right (mirror).. D*RN, this was SIMPLE when I tried to tell all!

No, this is NOT reverse evolution... but IT IS OLD (older than you
