VMs: f66r, der muszdel
I have not been able to find the previous discussion of this.
re. f66r http://www.voynich.nu/q/q08.html
'der muszdel' ......
And the translation is ___?
Or is it (the writing) an early dialectal form of Muß, mußt - or
müssen?
Or even Mußte or müste?
Babelfish gives mussder(???) ---> must-having that (?)
Gathering slaves for the next world?
or
Taking her leisure. (?)
or
???
If it betrays a dialect, . . .
habbahabbanikkibabba.
As the author, a wandering Oyo, was fond of saying.
Two more entries for the kookbook. But, who knows?
And since it is a slow day on the list, make it three entries:
Little Leonardo after receiving three partial sets of building blocks
unfolded them into crosses in his mind and matched the letters
according to whether he liked blue adjacent to green. Then he made a
coloring book and entered various strings of adjacent letters by
rearranging the crosses. Or recorded his baby talk, knowing he would
lose it someday.
A super-wild guess is that, although it looks standard in style,
there is something sinistral about this writing. If not the writer;
the inventor. If not the inventor it was (wilder speculation) it was
historically written right to left. Something.
Ciao ............. Knox
