As I noted earlier, the signature which Jan has published is
in fracture script - while Rene says the VMS signature is in
regular latin cursive. So the comparison might not say anything
positive. I believe the third signature, which is/was on another
known manuscript from Sinapius' collection, would be much better
for comparison, as it was produced in identical situation
(signing a book - not an official document written in German).

A note for John Stojko: this is most certainly not Cyrillic script.
It is German fracture. The second part is "Tepence" and it is
indeed a "p" - not Cyrillic "r".
