Well, it is not for sale yet :-). But seriously, there was once a talk about it.
But I quite agree, there is a difference between fraud and hoax.

I have read - maybe on Net - an article, comparing Mona's and Leonardo's foreheads on graphics editor. They seemed to fit nicely and explanation was this: it was actually Leonardo, who was
laughing at us. Subconsciously, we all may have sensed it already, but could not explain it, so we called it "a mysterious smile". Come to think of it, if it is true, then Leonardo was a hoaxer himself :-).
I just hope that one day they will not say the same thing about the VM,
