Re: VMs: Writer's Motivation



I still remember a bit of Gregg shorthand.  I was the first male in the history of my high school to take shorthand (along with Typing).  Knowing shorthand  didn't do me much good in life - except for a few Peanuts strips where Woodstock would take notation and I was the only person I knew who could read it....but at least the typing did me well over the long haul.

One of my examples is a copy of Conan Doyle's _The Sign of the Four_ 
written in Gregg shorthand, which I was planning to learn at the time I 
bought it, but haven't yet.
