VMs: castel de monte ( Italy )'s riddle
Hi all,
Here is another undeciphered (?) riddle which could too belong to Voynichalia, like Shugborough Hall s
D O.U.O.S.V.A.V.V. M
(G.B.) one; this latter writing is read in Italy ( Puglia, Andria, Castel del Monte ) :
I. D. I. D. E. NA D.lo E. die m.LO is.BB
I selected a web site about it:
Of course there are other ones.
The more directly Voynichese-like part of the story is for instance that this castel (castle) was a dwelling for well known Frederic II (von Hohenstaufen) emperor (1194-1250), whom links with Michael Scotus alchemist and astrolog are often described.
I am also especially struck by the possible connection of the Burg with the so-called Fibonacci ( 1170-1250) series:
Almost too much!
Jean
