This is not a real address to your message but, if you will pardon the insertion, I found, on the Internet under the subject of autism, a fairly good foreshortened drawing by a young autistic girl. She first drew isolated parts, then connected them. Amazing to me; maybe of interest to some.

Maybe he always composed figures piece by piece and happened to change
inks before he got to the right breast stage on this page?  I'm not
familiar enough with the artwork to know if this makes sense, but it would
be an interesting insight into the mental processes of the artist, if he
worked in such a systematic way.  I think that sort of orthogonality in
the processing is consistent either with copying or with mass production,
as it were, of detail.
