VMs: Endings
A few thoughts:
If the distinguishing feature of k vs. f and t vs. p is real, then perhaps
d does not equal g. In other words, there are two loopover graphs. One
which drops parallel to the preceding graph, and one which either passes
through - like the top downhook passes through i in l - or passes under -
like the top downhook passes under e to form y.
Perhaps the q and the first graphs of the gallows might represent a sort
of empty holder or holders for an otherwise homeless ending. Trouble is,
the selection of endings that can be attached seems limited.
Perhaps h and a might involve e + ending combinations modified by the
necessity of operating with the e-shape instead of the i-shape, or by
context.
