        The subdepartment History of Hermetic Philosophy and Related
        Currents is pleased to announce a conference entitled Horoscopes
        and History that will take place at the University of Amsterdam
        from 26-28 July 2004. The conference will bring together leading
        scholars in the history of astrology, among them D. Blume, J.-P.
        Boudet, N. Campion, P. Curry, St. Heilen, J. H. Holden, W.
        Hübner, D. Pingree, R. Plantiko, P. Schiller, St. van den Broecke,
        and R. Zoller. The conference is open to a wider public and the
        organizers highly appreciate a broad reception.
