VMs: Re: Past reordering of the manuscript

Dear all,

as part of a general update, I have added
some graphic views of the page collation
of the MS, including how the pages fold,
at the quire-by-quire description of the VMs,
accessible by clicking on the 'PAGES' button
anywhere in the site.

(I also added an article by D'Imperio on cluster
analysis of the VMs, origially HTML-ised by
Mike Roe - accessible through the 'extra
material' page).

Except for the fact that the folio number is
then also out-of-place. Thus, the current
suggested incorrect binding order would already
be quite old (specifically before the suspected
rebinding in the Collegio Romano).

_If_ anything was cut and sent to Kircher, of
course.

Possibly, f94 and f95 were once cut loose from
each other, and rebound together. One would then
expect, though, that some other stub should also
be visible between 95 and 96, or between 94 and 93.

Quires 15 and 17 are also interesting, as each
has a bifolio with a foldout containing herbal
illustrations. One is in language A and one in
language B. All other herbal illustations are
on normal-sized sheets.

Cheers, Rene
