Which brings us back to Aschaffenburg. The -aph-
was pointed out by Bernd Neuner as being rather
common in names of waters. I presume that
this does not come from Romanian, but followed
a parallel change to the Romanian one.

Quite interesting, since p-Celtic and q-Celtic
differ from each other in precisely this
way, and this would have happened quite
independently, would it not?
