VMs: VMS, its underlying language

Hello,

On this mailing list, what are the assumptions of the
underlying language of the Voynich manuscript?  From
what I've read, most people assume that the underlying
language of the VMS is a European language.  What are
your thoughts on Arabic or Hebrew as the underlying
language of the VMS?
