You might also find "The Most Mysterious Manuscript, The Voynich 'Roger 
Bacon' Cipher Manuscript", edited by Robert S. Brumbaugh (Southern Illinois 
University Press, Cabondale and Edwardsville, 1978) to be of interest. Since 
it is rather expensive to buy, you might be able to obtain a copy through 
inter-library loan. I am curious how you managed to obtain a free copy of 
D'Imperio's book from NSA? Did you do this through a web-site?
