Re: VMs: A very important discovery!!

 hi all :-)

just a quick sumery for 'newbies' that might not have been here 4 yrs
ago, or never followed the FOLDing till now.. i.e. the 4 does create 8
when rotated :-)

(sorry if this is old hat to the list, but maybe I can explain it - a
little more solid in concept..

either way I'll probably *leave* the list for the next few months as
winter is getting ready to settle in here, and i have ~tons~ to do..
it ~snowed last week~ .. YiKeS.. to soon TOO SOON winter.

It's certainly a nice plot that shows that something
unusual is going on. I wouldn't say that it is
evidence against a hoax, nor that it confirms
hypotheses made by Steve Ekwall or Marianne
Ridderstad. It is however worth looking into deeper.

The effect can be partly understood by those who
are familiar with some of the peculiarities of the
 VMs text.
If a text follows Zipf's law, then the percentage
of different words will decrease as the text gets
longer. This effect is turned around if, for some
reason, suddenly new words start to appear
too frequently. This could be a change of language,
but also a change of vocabulary in the same
language (e.g. subject matter) or a change of the
code if it is a ciphertext. We can use the word
 vocabulary for all options.

Since you sorted all lines alphabetically, we
get a strange snapshot of the 'development'
of the vocabulary. Now it is known that the lines
starting with the three gallows letters you indicate
are usually the first lines of paragraphs. And it is
also known that these are the lines where almost
all words containing an Eva-p or Eva-f occur.
Thus, in this case the sudden appearance of
too many new words is explained.

@ !SEE the Mirror! #
####################

Know that a gallows _char_ can be BOTH on the current # area, or on
the SAME KEY #(s) area.. A (c_gallows_c) _char_ will only mirror the
code, but lands/or puts your starting place in the same exact position
you where at.. (flipped/rotated key(s) etc.)

for something so simple: THIS IS HARD TO EXPLAIN.... (sorry all)

let me try this example (RED Hat, BLUE Hat story):

You have a code technique that you know how to use as its dipersed
throughout a set of folded key areas ####. THESE 4 '####' areas
contain
enough
spaces
to
contain
A-Z AND numbers 1-9

(oh yea, your looking at this alpha-numeric 'folded-jumble' while
wearing a RED Hat)....

you see that it is mixed up a bit - not just straight abc's etc..

but the #'s pointers (that is (eva) e,o,a,g..etc) work
wherever/whatever #'s
key your on, so you can code in any language you like. (numbers
included).

the 4 area keys "i.e. ####" are ALWAYS laid out as (3 then 1)

###
#

This allows for the (standalone) STRUCTURE of the 'pointer _char_'(s)
to work on ALL the #'s key area. (even as you wear a RED/BLUE Hat)

NOW CHANGE HATS! you are wearing a BLUE Hat now... Whoa, everthing
seems mirrored image and/or upside down.

(maybe you could just walk.a.round to the back side of the
glass black.board? .... nope, ~rats~ we need to flip it too!

anyway, wearing your BLUE Hat you see your 4 keys "i.e. ####" are
ALWAYS laid out as (1 then 3)

...
. #
###

The gallows AND (standalone) STRUCTURE 'pointer _char_'(s) work the
same way on this side of the board too.. pointing to the 'cubicle(?)
area that contains the letter, word, (formula?), number etc.. as you
had on the RED Hat side. (this is simple and handy to know.)

use the SAME TECHNIQUE on _either side_ of the Board, it's just now
you
have a reversed (mirrored) board of A-Z & 1-9 (H*ck, we have an O so
mabye we even have a zero in there already?)

RED Hat back on <8^) (meaning you have to go to the other side of the
black.board.. or flip over your #### key.)

you, the scribe already KNOW your alphabet (& numbers)... so to use
this you only have to SIMPLY memorize the positions ES laid out

that is

123
4

ALWAYS STAYS AS (per ES)

312
4

"1" being the foundation (two pillors / top FOLDED) piece of paper
someone showed you how to fold/use (SIMPLE enough to remember AND with
that you can start writing VMS code.)

1st _char_ MUST BE A Gallows else how the h*ck would you know where to
start on your 4 keys? (ha.ha) on: RED hat on:

IF you lay your language/number code in english say, then your key
would look like simple BLOCKS (#) or _chars_

that is

###
#

goes to (assuming english +#'s) Blocks or TTT areas as below.

STU ABC JKL
VWX DEF MNO
YZ0 GHI PQR

123
456
789

USE your (4 )gallows _char_ to point to which area you need to find a
character to encode etc...

(scribe whatever you like.. to make it 'worse?'/ more convoluted? put
on your BLUE Hat and go around to the other side..
continuing with same lower case pointers and (non c_gallows_c) gallows

ALWAYS STAYS AS (per SE) (me! H*ck i don't the other side yet :-)

*(note this is just a mirror of above - not the only MiRrOr possible)

the c_GALLOWS_c TELLS YOU ONLY 'when' TO CHANGE HATS!
Additionally, you will note you get essentially 4 more NEW(?), yet
static keys => making the 8 (eight) ~feeling~ that keeps reocurring.

Lost? Which color hat do you have on now?
WHEN LOST Just go back to top of page a see your 1st gallows #

gallows 1-4 occupy (below)

312
4 8
657

c_gallows_c 5-8 occupy (above)

(example)..

BLUE HAT ON
g (or lower left of any #) can equal 9,R,I,0

RED HAT ON
 with c_gallow_c adding 4 more
potential changes ... creating 8 possible "g's" value(s).

g (or lower left of any #)now can equal Y,G,P,7

HOPE THAT HELPS

best to you & yours
-=se=-

steve (the time is now :-) ekwall

ps _ sorry i don"t know language or blue hat side mirror "exact"
placements>>

pss ok ok ok I'll go back under my rock here again (sigh)
but, don't say i didn't try to tell you all :-))
