Well, not everyone believes it...
There are actually two, one on the Cancer page
and one on the Leo page. Both are badly rolled up
in the MS, and have not been completely
photographed in the recent Beinecke scanning
exercise. I also just noticed that the links to the
images at my site are wrong. I just fixed it.
The full images are:

(Cancer)

There is a third crowned nymph with a smaller
star, in Libra. Interestingly, Regulus culminates
when a degree of this sign rises. Now look at the
crown. To me it looks as if it has been ornated by
a culminating star:

Open to other interpretations, of course.

I can frankly say that I've never heard of the first
and never seen the second in connection with
astrology.
I'm just reminded of another observation.
The month names are written near the zodiac
emblems, which only makes partial sense.
Some time ago I learned that in Indian languages
(Sanskrit and others) the names of the months
and of the zodiac signs are actually the same
(e.g. Aries and April are something like Mesa).

They've been called goats but I'm no expert.
I once heard that in desert-like areas, sheep do
look a lot like goats...
Cheers, Rene
