VMs: Get off it - leave astrology alone

I just have to laugh.  I don't know where the conversation has gone, I have
some 173 messages I haven't read yet.  I'm sure some defend and some want to
censor.  In Roman times the censor also referred to a round stamping tool,
and I don't have to tell you what I want any sponsors of censorship to do
with that tool.  Put it where the sun don't shine, and keep it there as long
as it pleases you, but don't expect that just because it brings you pleasure
it is something the rest of us will willingly accept.

This list should be viewed as a learning experience.  According to several
broadcasts in several countries, we are a cross-reference of the scientific
community, all pooling our knowledge and resource for the common good, the
solution to the Voynich manuscript.  That's hard to live up to, and we do
our best.  What most of you don't get is that the solution cannot be found
in modern thought.  Facts are facts, they're just not the same facts in 2004
as they are in 1538.  Pamela has generalized a bit, but if she keeps her
comments within the boundaries of the Voynich, it is a most welcome addition
to our knowledge.

Ignorance *is* the Voynich list, and we have our most eloquent moments when
we examine our ignorance.  It has been a most painful process, but there is
great beauty in this progession as well.  Relish what you have, cherish what
you gain, and always remember you have filters and a "delete" button when
necessary.  NEVER censor.
