Well, in the images I have seen I have not yet
seen any name, apart from a reference to an
emperor Leopold, which could be Leopold I
who reigned in Prague from 1658 onwards.
That's at the limit of Barschius' possible
lifespan.
The handwriting is different, but compare
the different styles of Jacobus' two signatures
and it is still not impossible that the author
(named Barchius or not) is 'our man' Barschius.
The images appear to be cropped on the right.
Are there four in total or not?
I have not yet had a chance to try and read the
text completely.
Cheers, Rene
