Hello

Perhaps the whole idea of our VMS was that it was _intended_ to be
understood? Suppose that it was designed as a test of initiative or even
initiation? "If you can make sense of this, you can be in my gang...."
sort of thing. There might even have been a clue or clues no longer
available to us at this distance - a popular catch-phrase or the like,
say, or a common joke....

"Infamy. Infamy! They've all got it in for me...."

Not very likely, alas: but a nice idea. I wonder what the pizza was like
in those days?
