Don't be fooled by Jacques' rather direct style.
He has certainly looked at it and thought about
it, before concluding that the proposed solution
cannot work.
There are some other reasons why it cannot work,
which are usually obvious to someone who is more
familiar with the Voynich MS.
For me, seeing the web page with the alphabet table,
with the characters Eva-f and Eva-p assigned to
particular letters in the alphabet, I already
decided for myself that it could not be right.
This you might find hard to accept.
In addition, it is always possible to take any
Voynich page and find a system to translate a
fraction of its words into meaningful words,
in any language. This is therefore not sufficient
proof. What would be needed is to
be able to 'translate' the majority of words
into a coherent piece of text.
That is, if one wants to show that the VMs contains
meaningful text. For the alternative, it is much
more complicated.
