VMs: Again: where to look for the roots of these "gallows"

I still think, the "old turcic runes" are one of the top five places to look for
the origin of "gallows" (and other strange uneuropean letters) inside the VMS
glyphset (you see, such stuff is not likely to be born from nothing).

But the mongolian alphabets of buddhist origin are imho one of the top three ...

PS
When looking at these, it's probably easy to guess, why I support the Voynichese
"9" or "y" as real "y" or some "öi"/ "ey" in the words ending (or something like
that)

PPS
I personally prefer to look at Kalmykian alphabet of these mongolian ones ...
these people are Europeans and live roughly twice closer to us ... afaik other
European Mongols have been assimilated long ago

Anyway, in the case of "partly buddhist-mongolian Voynechese alphabet", the
initial "q" could be "d" or maybe "b" ... but well, kind of "i" ("j" in this
mongol7.gif) could be possible, too ... because I somehow like the idea of Latin
"i" at Voynichese "q" ... I do not know why.
For "gallows" we could par example look at "d?", "č", "ch" ... but also at
mandzhurian "f"...

PPPS
Has anybody heard, in 60ies of the 13th siecle, Khublai-Khan had plans to make
this alphabet the official one in his empire (eastwards from Österreich to the
Pacific ... Khublai himself preferred to live in China of course)? Well, they
later decided not to press on, Khublai liked it more to use the resources to
plant forests on roadsides, where possible...
