Still, preparing and publishing a high-quality reproduction of the VM will be a 
very costly experiment. Eg, I own a copy of a book about the Bayeux Tapestry 
which reproduces only a few samples of the BT in an amount of detail which 
would statisfy the average VM researcher, and that thing already cost in the 
60?/US$ range. And mind you that the BT is a much more popular item than the 
VM, ie will sell in higher numbers.

Medium-quality editions in low numbers can otoh be produced at a reasonable 
price at shops like "Books on Demand" (www.bod.de); I'm sure there are 
comparable services out there in the US. I've published with BoD and am quite 
statisfied with them.
