BTW, if you feed "negentropy" into one well-known online thesaurus, it asks 
you if you mean "pigeon-drop" - technically correct, I'm sure, but quite 
surreal all the same!

Also: here's a word I didn't know that came up - "recrement", meaning 
"Waste matter; dross", a bit like an underpowered version of "excrement":-
