An interesting aside to the work with the VMs. No doubt such techniques
will come in handy for clearing up faded characters when we know what's
going on with the text and get to the bulk translation of the manuscript.
I've been familiar with the Oxyrhynchus Papyri find for some time and the
news that the many thousands of fragments found there may now be
completely read, along with approximately 150 complete rolls that were
kept behind at the Gizeh Museum when the rest went to Oxford, is welcome
news indeed.
