Re:big trouble is ahead
Dear Jona!
Excuse me for the delay, but life goes on besides the voynich subject...
Now let us talk about facts and less about children without toys.

Anyway, as I heard of the announcement of Ursula Papke and Dirk Weydemann they had deciphered voynich, I was of course very reserved.
But without examine their arguments there is no way to judge without getting ridiculous, like some clowns near by.
1) My approach is first to take a good look on the deciphering of the manuscript without consideration of the context.
2)	The second step is than the context itself.

Ad 1) My expectation was not to find an easy solution on ms408.com otherwise some other clever dogs had solved the problem in the past centuries. I gazed on the sample page 5r and to be honest I was more confused than trying to read voynich in the original version. And not only this, I was also angry. Simply because these guys claim to get the solution, they offer me something for free ? and I was too stupid to understand.
And of course I could not expect to get into deeper understanding with the help of the offered plaintext on ms408.com otherwise this would not be for free.
After receiving the cd I tried to concentrate on the method. On the beginning of Chapter 6 they gave some deductions how they started the deciphering. In this moment I was near by to leave my strategy and to dive into the deep ocean of Indian philosophy. But I said to myself that is not the field to find evidence.
The only way to proof a deciphering is the pentagon:
a) to take the definitions of the signs and to operate with them on a ?sentence? of the original. b) On the second step you check your ?translation? whether there is a sense or you get something like ?baby God?s eye?.
c) In our specific case there is also an additional criterion: the pictures! Your ?translation? has to fit also to the pictures and give them a comprehensible meaning.
d) And if you are lucky the translation includes some hard data known by other sources.
e) In the specific situation there is also a fourth step witch is, to compare your own ?translation? with that of Ursula Papke´s version.
Except the unreadable, there are 67 identified signs included within the chart 6.4.
So if there is no successful deciphering, with no means you will get reasonable results if you consider there are millions of combinations of this 67 signs on the 102 readable pages.
I did it!
More next time

Good buy
Heidi
