	I second GC's request.  Some of us are contemplating a 
print-on-demand hardcopy publication of the VMs, and a 
color/ruler gauge would be especially useful there, to 
produce accurate final images on paper!

	We appreciate what you are doing, Dana, and hope you will 
write it all up later on for permanent web access!

PS- I have noticed that the jpg's produced by the 
mrsiddecode utility are quite distorted in color and 
brightness.   I have had better results from loading a sid 
into IrfanView and saving a jpg from there.
