Good Morning from Canada,

I'd like to welcome all the new folk and some older ones back. My present
bias -er thought on the VMS is a Middle-East language (or two) with most
vowels missing from the text. The lack of double letter combinations in most
of the text, the titles following the paragraphs, and maybe even the Turkish
baths... Admittedly, most folk don't call the centered text on some pages
'titles' as I refer to them.

If you're new to mailing list discussions in general, don't expect a
response from the list every time you send an idea out. Often, the idea is
noted - agreed to, readers are waiting for more comments/discussions on the
subject, or deemed out of the readers area of interest or expertise. Also,
don't take anything as a personal affront (I have been known to fall victim
to this myself). The list members are all enthusiasts and will pose
criticism or support for varying ideas. However, if you dare to claim you've
solved the problem - I can only say that most of us will look very close at
your claim and ask some more than usually agressive questions. We do want to
see a solution - but we want it to be able to stand up to criticism.
