Re: Another ~STRANGE BOOK~ WW3?

Well, so much for Nostradamus.

I hope this is a coincidence...

Today I looked up the Revised Common Lectionary Bible readings for last
Sunday (September 9th, 2001) and was astonished to find that the gospel
reading for last Sunday included Luke 14:28 (KJV):

"For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and
counteth the cost...?"

The Revised Common Lectionary is a three-year cycle of church Bible readings
that has been accepted by a remarkably wide range of churches for Sunday
Bible readings - Roman Catholics, most "standard-brand Protestants", and a
lot more. Some churches (including my denomination - I'm an Episcopalian) use
these readings very prominently in their services, while others don't. There
are several good Web sites for the RCL - I use
