I just added the link to the town's home page. For
those who don't look, Wojnicz is 8 miles/ 14 kilometers
southwest of Tarnów, which in turn is about 30 miles /
50 kilometers due east of Kraków.

I haven't heard much about how Poland is for
sight-seeing; I'd like to hear (off the list). It's in
an unfortunate situation; it has the two biggest and
meanest bullies in the world for neighbors, and no
oceans or mountains to protect them. However, they did
grow up along side one of the bullies, so why didn't
they arm themselves accordingly? ;-)

If Michael Sendivogius was indeed the author of the
VMs, we might find something ;-) . That's one ethnic
group I don't have in my background. I wonder why the
USA chose them as the archetypical ethnic group to dump
on. A few Poles sure saved Europe's neck during
W.W.II.
