I don't remember if this Web article by Edith Sherwood Ph. D.
has been mentioned here - it pops up on Google as a "sponsored
link":

Not very convincing, I would say, as she argues that 
the month name on Aries when viewed in a mirror looks
like Leonardo da Vinci's signature. But as it also looks
like "abril" (="april") and other signs likewise have
the names of months in Latin alphabet, such solution
would be highly unlikely and the similarity must be
incidental.
