True, trawling through them just for the sake of it would be an 
extraordinarily mind-numbing experience, except for those with the 
pointless encyclopaedic tendencies of extreme X-philes (personally, I'd 
prefer Extreme Ironing).

But still, if you find yourself wondering about Giovanni Nanni, Pietro 
d'Abano, angstschreeuw, or "Blepomen gar arti di' esoptrou en ainigmati", 
it's all in there (somewhere). :-)

Regardless of that, all the answers we seek are there in the primary data, 
staring us in the face (as they always have). Transcriptions are likely 
only the means to those answers.
