I should perhaps clarify: the key point of the "Mongolian nephew" explanation is
that it specifically does not include any coding or ciphertext - it argues that the
VMS is a plaintext in an unidentified language.
The argument that the VMS is an _encoded_ version of a language such as Mongolian is
a lot more believable, but that's different from the "Mongolian nephew" explanation.
