I agree. I also accept the possibility that it
was written by someone not otherwise known.
It is relevant, though, that the MS includes
'types' of drawings which indicate that (s)he
knew what MS herbals look like, and must have
more than basic astronomical knowledge (cf. the
circular diagrams with 30 'items').

That is of course up to you. I have not given up,
but have no time. The result is the same. :-/
There are still a number of very clear leads into
the structure of the language that have not yet
been followed through.
