Two comments, one tongue in cheek (first):
'Never seen before' implies that one would have
gone through the entire mailing list archive. Let's
see....
More seriously, I'm looking forward, since I've
been there myself, and know that there are lots
of odd things to be observed, which are crying for
someone to explain them properly. At the same time,
don't forget that there are also herbal A pages
near the end of the MS, embedded in the pharma
section, and the pharma section itself is also
in A-language. It would help taking them into account,
or one could keep them as a verification set.
It is worth having a look at the pretty (well, at
least colourful) pictures in the second half of:
http://www.voynich.nu/extra/curabcd.html
to see how I correlated the 'language' of each of
the sections of the MS (one colour is one logical
section of the MS).
There's an older piece I wrote at:
http://www.voynich.nu/extra/lang.html
which looks at 'typical' words in various sections.
Cheers, Rene
